Fairtrade Lancashire will be joining dozens of other stalls at Ewood Park for the annual sustainability conference for primary and secondary schools in the region. We will have a stall selling Fairtrade chocolate and small gifts and a collaborative artwork on the subject of cocoa farming in Ghana

About the event

This year the conference is  a combined event, for both Primary and Secondary schools! You'll find tailored eco-focused learning programs for primary and secondary students, featuring workshops, presentations, competitions, and marketplace activities. Students can explore a variety of engaging science-related learning activities. Y8/9 Sustainability STEM Challenge: Organized by STEM First with input from STEM Ambassadors. Two cash prizes will be awarded. Global Geography Production Line Team Challenge: Compete in Mrs. Jagatia's sweatshop, located in a low income country. The winning team earns a £60 bonus, and the winning school receives £100. (For Y7/8 students).
